3 PRODUCTS FOR PRETTY LASHES

PRODUCTS FOR PRETTY LASHES

I would love to have long fluttering lashes but being Asian and all, I have to make do with my short and sparse lashes! Well a gal has to make the most of what she's got right? For our wedding last year, I got lash extensions done by my amazing lash technician Emily (photo below.) The extensions are glued on to your real lashes for a super lush and full look. They last for a few weeks and then start to fall out naturally.

When my extensions fell out, my real lashes were super short and barely there. I have to admit, I didn't feel very pretty or feminine! Luckily I have a few products that really do make my lashes full and pretty without false lashes or extensions.

The wonder product for my lashes that I would be lost without is the Talika Lipcocils Expert*. I used this last summer and you can see photos and my full review on the Talika Eyelash Conditioning Gel here. I was so glad I had this to product to help my lashes grow after my extensions came out. I've been using this in the evenings, for the last 2 months and I have really noticed a difference. My lashes are fuller, thicker and slightly longer. It contains 12 plant extracts including silk protein to help stimulate growth, darken and curl lashes. I would happily repurchase this!

If I'm in a hurry and have no time to put on makeup, I always make sure I curl my lashes with the MAC Eyelash Curler. Curled lashes always make me feel pretty! The MAC version are cheaper than the infamous Shu Uemura ones and in my opinion work just as well. They come with a replacement rubber pad and with a gentle squeeze, keep my lashes curled and in place. They're also super stylish in black.

My go to mascaras are the Maybelline's waterproof one. My favourite is the Maybelline Falsies in Black, the waterproof formula is a god send at keeping my lashes curled and voluminous all day without drooping. The wand is flexible and has a unique spoon curler brush to lift, fan out and get to all your lashes. It's affordable for £7.99 and I like to pick one up when Boots have their deals on! Other mascara favs are the Maybelline Colossal Waterproof Mascara and Max Factor 2000 Calorie Waterproof Mascara.
