Perks of wedding venue hunting? Viewing some seriously beautiful buildings in and around London. The other weekend, Hang and I went to see Eltham Palace, where Henry VIII went to as a child (History was my favourite subject at school!) Also check out this Georgian mansion in South West London, the sun was shining and we had a great time looking around - could totally get used to this! Wedding prep has been going well so far, the most important thing we've been trying to do is secure a venue, which is harder than I thought. So in between work, socialising and blogging, my thoughts are constantly drifting to wedding decor, food, flowers and dresses! My bridesmaids and I are going to a bridal shop this weekend and I'm so excited, eeek! Let's be real ladies, that's the most important part right ;) when else can we dress up like a princess and get away with it haha.
The venue was also close to the River Thames as well, so we had a sneak peek to where the boats come in - if you wanted to arrive by boat, why not hey?
