Has anyone ever asked you what are you doing with your life? Pretty scary and open ended question right? I hear you, I've been there many a times and I don't know about you but it can feel a little bit exasperating at times. I just think why does it matter so much to have your life mapped out to the t? How can we know what's around the corner for us? Of course I like having certain goals to work towards but sometimes it's OK to not have it all planned out.
You go to school, maybe go to Uni, try and find your dream job and all the while searching for 'the one'. The reality is for me I didn't get in to my first choice Uni, I didn't love my course, I've stayed in jobs that I hated and had my heart broken by absolute idiots - ha! My twenties may have been tough but having added pressure to have everything mapped out made it even more stressful. I wish I knew it didn't matter if I didn't find my dream career yet or find the love of my life straight away! So life doesn't always go to plan but it's OK, that's why they call it life lesson.
Life is whatever you choose it to be
The world really is your oyster
Settle down when you feel ready
Money isn't everything
It's OK to make mistakes, no one's perfect!
We all have to make decisions in life but why does there have to be a ticking clock at the same time? Deciding on your future can be pretty daunting at times or you can just roll with the punches and see where it takes you! Everyone seems to be in a hurry to complete this and succeed at that but forgot to take moments and just enjoy living, cos that's what I plan to do :)
Do you like things planned out or live day by day?
